Eldas MP Adan Keynan has applauded leaders from Northeastern Kenya for turning out in large numbers to welcome Deputy President Kithure Kindiki during his recent visit to the region.

Keynan, who also chairs the Northern Kenya Parliamentary Group, said the show of solidarity reflected both unity of purpose and a firm commitment to collaborate with President William Ruto’s administration.

“We make no apologies for our political position,” he said on Monday. “Our support for the President is anchored on trust, proven experience, and tangible progress.”

Keynan noted that the joint presence of leaders in Garissa, Wajir, and Mandera demonstrated a renewed resolve to work closely with government in reshaping the region’s development path and delivering a future of shared prosperity.

“President Ruto has already shown goodwill by prioritising infrastructure, education, security, and economic empowerment in Northern Kenya. As leaders, we have every reason to back his administration,” he added.
